Iryna Gumenchuk was born in Ukraine, where she graduated from Kyiv National Linguistic University and got her first education in Philology and second part-time education in Law. In 2011, she joined the Rotaract Club Kyiv-City and due to her social engagement, in short time took such positions as the Secretary of the Club 2012/2013 and the President 2013/2014. During 2014/2015 she took part in European Voluntary Service in Agapedia Jürgen Klinsmann Foundation funded by Erasmus+ program. As a volunteer, she was assisting in the organization of the forums, special events, conferences, workshops within “Jugend im Wandel” project.
In 2015 together with Maksym Altunin she was leading the “Youth” workshop in the framework of 2nd Danube Participation Day in Ulm, Germany. From March until July 2017 Ms. Gumenchuk finished the internship in the German Parliament being a scholar of International Parliamentary Scholarship (IPS). Together with her colleagues, Dorothea Iordanova (Bulgaria), Daniela-Maria Mariș (Romania), Anna Chepizhko (Ukraine), Margaryta Udovychenko (Ukraine) and Ádám Zágoni-Bogsch (Hungary) will work together on the (social) media issues during the 4th Danube Participation Day.
Currently she is studying at Heidelberg University, Master of Non-profit Management and Governance and working as a manager assistant at Agapedia Jürgen Klinsmann Foundation.
