Round table “The Odessa Region and the EU Strategy for the Danube Region: opportunities and perspectives in the context of the upcoming Ukrainian presidency of the EUSDR”

On 9th July 2021, the Centre for Regional Studies together with the Odessa Regional State Administration, National Institute for Strategic Studies, Association “EU Strategy for the Danube Region” and Danube Civil Society Forum held a round table “The Odessa Region and the EU Strategy for the Danube Region: opportunities and perspectives in the context of the upcoming Ukrainian presidency of the EUSDR”.

The discussion was chaired by the Chairman of the Odessa Regional State Administration Mr. Sergey Grynevetsky and involved Mr. Igor Korkhovyi, Deputy Minister of Local Communities and Territorial Development, leadership of the Odessa Regional State Administration and Regional Council, scientific and expert community.

Ukraine is to take over the presidency of the EU Danube Strategy in November 2021. So it becomes the first non-EU country to carry out this mission between November 2021 and November 2022.
