TÖOSZ (Association of Hungarian Municipalities, cover approx. 60 per cent of the municipalities in HU): The organisation coordinates the resources of the Hungarian local governments. They collect which municipality can accommodate refugees and for how long. They are in contact with the Hungarian operational staff, which manages matters related to the war situation. The Hungarian partner settlements contacted their Ukrainian partner settlements and organised help. The municipalities also started collecting donations and forwarding donations to humanitarian organisations: http://www.toosz.hu/
The Baptist Relief Service is preparing to care for arriving refugees at the Hungarian border area and is ready to provide possible assistance in Ukraine. They transfer durable food, canned food, baby food, drinking water, basic hygiene products and winter clothing from their logistics centre in Transdanubia to their warehouse base in Matészalka. They also mapped the assistance capacity of social and educational institutions in the region to accommodate refugees and put the HUBA-Rescue24 special rescue team on standby for a possible medical assistance: https://www.baptistasegely.hu/

Diakonie Katastrophenhilfe started an emergency aid for war refugees from Ukraine with their project partners in neighbouring countries Romania and Moldova.
