Aida Daguda
Aida Daguda, Director of the Center for Civil Society Promotion (CPCD)
Aida Daguda has 27 years of professional experience in the field of civil society development in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as in the Western Balkans region and Turkey. She is an expert in designing and managing projects that develop institutional mechanisms for cooperation between government authorities and civil society organizations. She possesses substantial knowledge and experience in creating, monitoring, and implementing public policies that are crucial for establishing a supportive legal, institutional, and financial environment for non-governmental organizations.
She is the initiator of numerous civil society initiatives, including the largest mentoring program for women in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as several regional initiatives in the Western Balkans. She is committed to open dialogue, gender equality, and active participation in decision-making processes.
Aida Daguda is the lead lecturer at CPCD’s accredited Academy for EU Project Development. She is a member of the Advisory Body of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina for Cooperation with NGOs, and is also an associate member of the European Economic and Social Committee.
