Midhat Džemić, Head of Section, Directorate for European Integration, Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina

He oversees one of the sections of the Office of the National IPA Coordinator (NIPAC) of Bosnia and Herzegovina, covering rule of law and good governance, including fundamental rights. He coordinates Bosnia and Herzegovina's participation in the planning, programming and monitoring of the implementation of the Multi-country IPA financial instrument in all sectors. He organises the work of the division with the aim of complementing official EU IPA assistance (the Instrument for Pre-Accession) with the bilateral cooperation assistance of EU member countries to Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH). He is responsible for organising and implementing consultations with civil society within the Office of the National IPA Coordinator. He coordinates the planning of IPA assistance in line with various regional (SEE 2020) and EU macro-regional strategies (Danube/EUSDR and Adriatic-Ionian/EUSAIR). He functions as the EU Funds National Coordinator for Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) and is a member of the Governing Board of the Adriatic-Ionian Strategy. He functions as the National Coordinator for the EU Danube Strategy (EUSDR). Successfully organised the BiH chairmanship of the EUSAIR from June 2022 to May 2023, including organising the 8^(th) EUSAIR Forum in Sarajevo, which probably had the highest number of events and visitors. From 1 January 2025, when Bosnia and Herzegovina took over the one-year presidency of the EUSDR, he was the most responsible person for the BiH EUSDR presidency.
