Due to the overwhelming echo from the Danube community -which we are very grateful for- we had been forced to open a waiting list. We can only accept further registrations, if we receive any cancelations from already registered participants. We regret very much that not all interested will have the possibility to join the 6th Danube Participation Day. Nevertheless we cannot accept registrations that go beyond the capacity of the venue.
We will keep updating our website and publish all available reports online after the event.

Presentation of 6th DPD rational, the thematic priorities and structural challenges to be addressed in the two World Café sessions (Moderation: Iryna Gumenchuk, Stefan Lütgenau)
World Café is made of two sessions lasting for 60 minutes each. Each session will have several thematic tables. Each table will have a moderator and a rapporteur taking note of the main results and inputs.

13:00 World Café, 2nd session
The 2nd session of the world café reflects on the main structural topics/challenges of participation in the EUSDR and the Danube region. Participants will explore structural needs for enhanced and broadened participation in the run to the 7th DPD in Croatia addressing the rejuvenation of the strategy. The session will have the following thematic tables:

reducing red tape (in cross border cooperation)
14:00 Interactive Market Place
The interactive market place is another participative feature to ensure full active integration of participants in the program and on goings. Participants have the opportunity to present projects, project ideas, form groups dedicated to various issues and aims related to youth-participation and empowerment.

Discussion of the main results from the World Café.

The theme of this year´s Danube Participation Day is Youth – Participation – Empowerment of younger generation to engage and be represented in political and governance processes as well in the rejuvenation of the strategy.
On 26th June at the 6th DPD we would like to a) look at the general situation of youth in the Danube region in terms of inclusion, participation, b) present a number of good practices of project and processes involving youth, and c) take care that youth is able to present itself, its views and challenges.
The Danube Participation Day is an official side eventof the 8th Annual Forum of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region – Building Cohesion for a Shared Prosperity in the Danube Region. The Annual Forum will take place on the 27-28th June also in the Parliament Palace, Bucharest, Romania.

The Danube Participation Days are the annual platform for stakeholders in the Danube Region for participatory governance in the EU Strategy for the Danube Region (EUSDR). The conference – that is held back to back with the EUSDR Annual Forum - offers the opportunity to exchange, network and to further develop ideas and projects on participatory governance in the Danube Region. The 8th Danube Participation Day is a side event of the 10th EUSDR Annual Forum hosted by the Slovak EUSDR Presidency.

Priority Area 10 (PA 10) of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region (EUSDR) aims at stepping up institutional capacity and cooperation. Danube Civil Society Forum (DCSF)
The Danube Civil Society Forum (DCSF) is the platform for civil society dialogue and networking in the Danube basin under the EU Strategy for the Danube Region (EUSDR). It functions as the interface for structured consultations between civil society and public and private authorities on the regional, national and EU level as well as to international and intergovernmental organisations active in the region.
The Danube Civil Society Forum is dedicated to support civil society organisations in the Danube basin. It aims to promote and enhance civil society participation and networking in the framework of the European Union Strategy for the Danube Region.
