Virtual Coffee Meeting #4

Strengthening the Partnership Principle

Let’s meet virtually!

We are pleased to invite you to our 4th Virtual Coffee Meeting, which will take place on Thursday, 10 September 2026, at 10:00 AM (CEST).

This session will focus on Strengthening the Partnership Principle as an introduction to the upcoming 13th Danube Participation Day,which will take place in Sofia on 2, November 2026.

The Partnership Principle will be the central theme of this year's Danube Participation Day. Therefore, the 4th Virtual Coffee Meeting aims to foster dialogue and kick-start the debate, providing an opportunity to exchange initial ideas ahead of the discussions in Sofia.

The topic will be introduced by Stefan August Lütgenau, founding Director of the Foster Europe Foundation for strong European Regions (Austria) and President of the Danube Civil Society Forum. An experienced historian, he has extensive expertise in historical research, human rights, and international development cooperation. He has published widely on diplomatic history, Holocaust-era assets, forced labour under National Socialism, as well as federalism and decentralisation.

Take a 30-minute coffee break with us to exchange ideas and connect with colleagues from across the Danube Region in a relaxed setting.
